Ai wrote a lovely blurb for this section and while it all sounded nice it wasn’t me. I started creating 1:48 scale kits many years ago but with a husband who is involved in HO scale railways it was inevitable that one day HO scale kits would show up on my design screen. So, here begins a new direction for Petworth Miniatures.

Every kit is my own design and I do try to draw from full size original buildings and accessories to add authentic touches to your layout. Now that we live in the Maritimes, many of the kits have Down East origins and I expect more will follow.

The kits are laser cut from basswood and laser board. Detailed instructions are included and I’m always available for help if something just doesn’t make sense to you.

There is no shopping cart as most kits are cut to order and not kept ‘in stock’ . That said order turn around is usually just a few days. Just fill in the contact form at the bottom of any page with your questions or orders. That goes directly to my email. I try to respond quickly and if you don’t receive an answer within a day or two please check your spam.
